"I have learnt the basics of acting from my parents" : Gulki

Actress Gulki Joshi who played Sugni in Zee TV's popular show Phir Subah Hogi is enjoying her break these days. Art is in her blood as the actress belongs to an artistic background. 

However, the talented actress Gulki is looking forward to make her comeback on television soon.

On being asked Gulki regarding the offers she is getting and the roles on her wish list, she said, "Currently, I am enjoying my break. Otherwise, I am not choosy about roles and whatever works out first for me is the right choice for me. However these days even as I am getting offers for daily soaps I am little choosy at the moment."

Talking about her association with theater and starting off her career in acting, Gulki says, "I used to do theater during my college days but nowadays I watch theater plays. My Mom is a dialogue writer and she has been associated with Balaji Telefilms from quite some time now. Her previous shows as a writer were Tere Mere Sapne and Ram Milaye Jodi. Also my Dad is into direction. So I have got all the basic schooling of acting from my parents only. I also always used to take part in drama, debate, skit, singing and dancing during my school days."

So is Gulki interested in taking part in reality shows and which is the TV show she is following these days? Gulki says, "I would like to take part in dance reality shows and singing reality shows but I won't like to take part in reality shows like Big Boss. Though I hardly get a chance to watch any show I have followed few episodes of Mahabharat and I have really liked it."  

When asked Gulki whether is she in touch with her team members of Phir Subah Hogi, she said, "Yes, I am in touch with all my team members of Phir Subah Hogi. We often keep talking to each other or meet if we are around at each other's places."
