I have had some practice of kabbadi back in school: Richa Chaddha

Richa's kabbadi experience comes in handy in the training for Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga

Richa is all geared up to be seen in a film being made on a popular Indian sport, Kabaddi by the ace director and writer Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Richa recently wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Bhopal and is all geared up shooting the next schedule which will happen in February as both the actress, Kangana, and Richa need to do preparation for the role and master the sport for Authenticity on screen. Interestingly this isn't the first brush Richa has with this Indian sport. Richa has earlier been closely associated with Indian sports since her school days.

Richa was involved playing high intensive outdoor sports including Kabaddi. She has the played the sport during her school days and even trained for the sport back then.

Owing to her past experience, some amount of learning is coming easily to Richa helping her to train faster.

Speaking about it, Richa said, "It's been amazing to work with professional players. We are working with a senior player and senior coach sir too. They have been training us extensively in the sport. I have had some practice of kabbadi back in school, which has come in handy, it was something I enjoyed back then too in schools. It's intensive and not easy, but its surely worth it because of the impact it will create on film. Ashwiny is very thorough. That makes the process even more fun, makes us want to put in that extra effort to look and be as authentic as we can to real life kabbadi players"
