Actor Priyanshu Jora, is entertaining audience with his character of Titu in Star Plus' Tu Mera Hero. Well, its quite a challenging job for Priyanshu to essay this role as it has various shades added to it. While Priyanshu has also featured in the much acclaimed show, 24 tele-series on Colors, he talks about essaying a different character in a new show, bonding with co-stars and more...

Here is what Priyanshu has to say -

It's a character which you get to do once in a life time - A few things which any actor would think before taking up any project is the channel and production house. Star Plus, is the no one channel and Shashi Sumeet Mittal, is the no one production house. Above all, I feel it is a character which you get to do once in life time. The quality of this character is that it has different shades, something which male actors on television rarely get to do. I have got an opportunity to perform, recreate and think.

I have taken a lot of efforts to essay the role of Titu - When I came to know that it is a U.P based story, I took efforts to learn their body language, that dialect and more. I read this book called Dukham Sukham which is written in Brijwasi for three to four days when I was in the Mathura city to interact with people over there. I tried understanding their sense of humor, their way of living, dressing sense.

After coming back from there, I learned how to portray a lazy character which was a challenge for me and the team. They were confused about how to portray a character who is lazy but at the same time he is a performer too. I am always amazed by Jim Carry and have learned a lot watching his films. I never thought that, I can do comedy but gradually some research has helped me in improving my comedy timing.

I have a very good equation with all my co-stars - We have lots of fun while shooting, we argue a lot. There is lot to learn from my co-actor Akhilendra Mishra ji and then one who essays the role of Bhagwati.

I love to see smiling faces - People are liking the show and it is one such show which has a mass appeal. A big thank you for liking the show. Keep smiling and remain happy, its beautiful to see smiling faces around you.

Titu and Panchi both make lovely couple and Priyanshu is actually a very good looking person and has sharp features... we will see his best in his second show by the time he grows another 2-3 years.
