'I have always been a tom-boy' - Anchal Dwivedi

Anchal Dwivedi, better known as Kaveri in Saat Phere has entered Star Plus serial, Santaan recently in a not-so-vampish role!

"My character (Poornima) in Santaan is of a business woman who is very smart. It does not have only grey shade to it, so I am very excited and hope that this character will create a new dimension in my career”, says Anchal.

Poornima's look in the serial is also completely different from that of Kaveri's. "I have a straight hair and am sporting a look which is just opposite to Kaveri. Please watch me on Santaan and give me your feedback," says the girl hailing from a small town near Kanpur.

Despite signing for a new serial, Anchal is all praise for Saat Phere. "This is my first daily soap and today, whatever I have achieved in my career is because of Saat Phere." Anchal is quite popular on the sets and is known to make friends very easily. "Right from my teens, I have always been a Tom Boy. I share a good rapport with all of them,” says the actress.

But who is the one special friend in her life who she is seeing? "No! Not at all! I am single and enjoying every moment of that. Though my mother always tries to push me towards getting married, my dad says, enjoy your life and do whatever you want to do!", says Anchal who was earlier linked with Vishal Kotiyan and Kushal Punjabi.

Anchal is desparate to do comedy. "I like playing comic roles and have already done a few in 'Let's Party' and 'Chalti Ka Naam Zindagi'. I have in me what it takes to do a good comedy role”, opines Anchal as she signs off.
