I got divorced a year back- Anand Suryavanshi

Anand Suryavanshi is miffed with the recent rumours that have been reported in one of the media portal about him dating his co-star Priya Bhatija, from Sony TV's 'Suryaputra Karn'. 

Our source informs, "Anand is quite upset with the news as it puts him in a bad light, portraying what is not true. Anand got divorced a year back, hence the news is misleading and not true."

We contacted Anand who told us, "Yes, I am upset with the rumours but it's a part and parcel of our industry. However, I have never discussed my personal matters in front of media, as I feel its a private affair. I got divorced a year back and it was our mutual decision. We both respect each other and we still maintain that. I never spoke about my divorce in open because of my daughter, as I don't want such matters to affect her. Priya and I are good friends, but we are not dating. I thought I should reveal my divorce news after reading such rumours."

Anand was married to Ira for 15 years.
