"I am waiting for a final update on 'Sumit Sambhal Lega 2'"- Manasi Parekh

The show, 'Sumit Sambhal Lega' went on to become one of the most loved shows in recent times. The show went off-air sometime ago, but it managed to earn a lot of appreciation and accolades.

Also, it is one of the few Indian shows to have a 9 plus rating on International Movie DataBase (Imdb).

It was one of those nostalgic moments for actress, Manasi Parekh who played the role of Maya in show. The actress was having a fun packed Holi with her family, when a co-star from the show joined her for the celebrations.

It was none other than veteran actress, Bharati Achrekar who played the on-screen saas (mother-in-law) of Manasi Parekh.

The actresses shared an amazing camaraderie off-screen and this picture was just another example of the same..!

We contacted Manasi about it and she said, "I had actually got a gift for Bharati ji from Gujarat. So, she had come to collect it. And then we chatted together for a long time and it was fun."

She added, "We also have this 'Walia Group' on social networking app. So, whenever, any of us meet up or anything, we share the picture."

On being asked about the rumours surrounding the season 2 of the show, she said, "Well, all of us have been asked to wait by the channel till April for the update on the next season. They are apparently planning on a new season and will come up with a decision in the next 15 days or so. We have signed for three seasons while signing the contract. So, hopefully, things should be rolling soon".
