I am overwhelmed with the love and acceptance from viewers...

...says Upasana Singh AKA lovable Bhua for her new show Santoshi Maa.

Talented Upasana Singh who is also loved as Bhua from Comedy Nights with Kapil is playing a completely different role on &TV's Santoshi Maa. The actress is delighted with the response she is getting for her new show.

When we asked Upasana Singh about her character from Santoshi Maa, she said "Yes, I am playing a negative character after a long time. It's been a year or more that I was just doing comedy, so my role in Santoshi Maa gave me a break. It is totally opposite from what viewers have seen me doing these days."

Distinguishing comedy with negative genre, she adds "Comedy is something people connects to and love the character. However, people hate negative characters. Comedy has innocence but negative ones are harsh. Still, I am glad people have accepted me in both the roles. I play a very sophisticated lady who speaks english fluently on the show but on Comedy Nights...I played the character who is an illiterate."

"I feel lucky that Rashmi Sharma and &TV gave me a chance to enter into a new zone, because as an actress we want to keep playing different shades every time and I am glad that I got the opportunity," ends the adorable lady, Upasana Singh.

Indeed, she deserves all the claps!!!
