"I am not at all like Akshara in real life": Hina Khan

My journey in the TV industry has been great so far. 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', has given me immense popularity in the industry as it is one of the most popular shows on television. The character of Akshara is appreciated a lot by people and it makes you feel proud of yourself when you get so much of love from your fans.

It feels very nice as the show revolves around the character of 'Akshara'. They have portrayed the entire journey of Akshara as a Beti, Bahu, Wife and a Mother.

The type of role you want to play in future?
I want to play a bubbly character which portrays the real Hina Khan. The way I am in my real life I would want it to be showcased on television if given a chance.

Are there any similarities between Akshara and Hina Khan?

No I am not at all like Akshara, I am totally different. Hina is a fun loving and a bubbly girl who enjoys life to the fullest.

Acting to you is?
Acting to me is life. My life is nothing without acting because I love it and I am grateful that I am a part of this field now.

If you were not an actor then what would you be?
If I was not an actor I would have surely been a Journalist because I am a great fan of Barkha Dutt and she inspires me to pursue that field.

The day which made you feel proud of yourself?

The day when my show reached the No. 1 spot, I was proud of myself . Also, when I came to know that my character is loved by people, it really felt amazing. I have never learnt acting so in that sense if people love me so much it means a lot to me.

I go to a spa, spend quality time with my family or else I go shopping or to watch a movie.

Your closest friends in the industry?
No one.
