Pretty and popular actress Rishina Kandhari, who has enthralled the audience with her acting skills, is now showcasing the cricketer side of hers on the pitch.
Yes, the actress is now playing for the Lucknow Nawabs team for the ongoing Cricket based reality show BCL Season 2 on Colors. In a conversation with TellyBuzz, Rishina shares more about her experience with BCL so far, her inclination towards Cricket and much more...
Experience so far - So far my experience with BCL has been very good. I joined the team late because of my hectic shooting schedules; I couldn't even go for my first match but now I am looking forward to my next match. I have been knowing Ajay Chaudhary (owner of the team) since Uttaran days and he is a fantastic person to be with. He is superb as an owner; he takes care of everything. We are a new team in BCL and we have a lot of pressure upon ourselves to prove.
Inclination towards Cricket - I like the game! In my family, we have been watching Cricket since my childhood days. I remember that whenever India Pakistan matches used to happen then all my cousins used to join us and my Mom used to cook food for us. We were crazy for Cricket; I was fascinated for the game. We were 11 cousins so we had our own Cricket team and used to play Cricket a lot (laughs). I think that fascination towards the game has got me into BCL.
Fitness regime - First I was dieting to keep myself fit. Now I have started eating because I need strength to play the game. I need to have the strength to play the game and if I will be on diet then I won't be able to get that strength. I am eating a lot and because we are practicing so hard, the food is automatically getting digested. To keep my energy level high, I have started eating right.
Playing against friends in BCL - This is just a game! I am not against friends Karan Patel or Roopal Tyagi. There is nothing that it will make people feel like there is something wrong between us. Not being in the same team doesn't mean that we are not together in real. We are very much together and we love each other immensely. It's just a game and we are just in different teams which is not going to make any difference. I have some of my other friends as well like Mouni (Mouni Roy) who is playing with other team. So it's doesn't mean that we are enemies. We all are against each other in just the game and not in real life.
About BCL - BCL for me is meeting people and keeping myself fit. It's a good initiative which is keeping everyone busy along with their shoots. It's a great show; earlier I have done a lot of shows with Colors so now I am really looking forward to this one.
We
wish you good luck Rishina!
