For some people, travel has always been an all-consuming passion, their first love. It is fun and most of our Telly town actors travel for the sole purpose of enjoyment, wild partying or just to take some time off from the erratic shooting schedule.

While conversing with actor Karan V Grover, who is currently seen as the main lead in Zee TV's popular show Punar Vivaah Ek Nayi Umeed, we found that the handsome actor is fond of traveling. Let's see what does Karan has to share about his traveling experience…

Are you a travel buff?

I am absolutely a travel buff.

How often do you go for a vacation?

I try to go for a vacation at least twice a year.

Which is your favorite holiday destination?

Las Vegas is my most favorite holiday destination in the world. I'm in love with the place, the party scenario, enormous casinos and the whole road trip to Grand Canyon is just fabulous.

A travel experience that will always remain with you?

On my trip to California last year, while I was walking below the Hollywood boulevard at night, which is a huge foot path of 3-4 kms long, suddenly I heard someone calling my name from behind. When I turned behind, I met a bunch of people who were incidentally the fans of my past show 'Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli'. To my surprise, they were all Indians, who had stayed in Los Angeles throughout their life. Interestingly, I met a really sweet old lady and she used to never miss any episode of my show. Needless to say, that was the most wonderful moment I cherish even today.

What are the 3 things you look for when you book a hotel?

First of all, I certainly go through the review and trip advisor on Booking.com, by the travelers who have been there. Then I look at the location of the hotel from various sites and lastly I also make sure the hotel provides some good amenities.

Which are our top 3 romantic holiday destinations?

Though I'm not much of a romantic person, the top three romantic destinations I would prefer are:

1) Goa

2) Torremolinos in Spain

3) New Zealand

If you have to choose a destination to shoot for your show, which place would it be?

If I have to choose a destination where I can shoot for my show, I would definitely prefer Malibu in Los Angeles. It's a beautiful place, the view of the houses near the sea are breathtaking and the feel of Los Angeles is amazing.
