I always wanted to become a chef: Sonal Vengurlekar

Trishula Productions' popular show Yeh Vaada Raha (Zee TV) has recently witnessed a new entry as the show has taken a leap. Pretty and talented actress Sonal Vengurlekar is now essaying the role of grown up Survi post leap on the show.

Acting was not in the mind of Sonal before she stepped into this field but we wonder how this talented girl entered the field of acting!

In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Sonal goes down the memory lane and shared with us as how did acting happen to her. She said, "I was an average student and wanted to pursue a course in Hotel management. I always wanted to become a chef. My father is a chef and I have seen so many tasty foods made in our kitchen but due to some reasons, I could not pursue the course. I have worked for two of the most popular fast food chains in India. I used to prepare pizza and learned a lot from my experience but I have never shared this with my parents that time because I used to bunk my college."  

We also learned from Sonal that she did event management for some time and then one day she saw a poster of a TV show and that's when acting clicked in her mind and she got attracted towards the showbiz.

Having done so many popular shows like The Buddy Project Season 2 - Now in College, Shastri Sisters, etc. Sonal is now playing grown up Survi on Yeh Vaada Raha. When we asked her whether she can relate herself to the character on the show, she said, "I am unlike my character Survi so it will take time to get into the skin of my character. She is a quiet girl and matured. I am giving a lot of time to understand my character as I don't want to let down my producers who have shown their faith in me. I am giving my full focus to Survi and it is always tough when you play an opposite shade of your personality on screen."
