Hrithik Roshan is Siddharth Anand's 'Desi Rambo'!

Bollywood's 'Bradley Cooper' lookalike, 'Hrithik Roshan' has given his nod for Siddharth Anand's desi version of Sylvester Stallone's Rambo!

It was reported earlier that there were speculations about the casting of the film but Siddharth had cleared it saying,"Hrithik is always on top of my mind, but I haven't finalized anyone as yet. It can be a new actor as well".[sic]

According to the recent reports, the sources involved in the project have confirmed it's none other than Hrithik Roshan who will be seen playing the iconic character of John Rambo.

According a leading daily a source was quoted saying, "The hindi remake of Rambo will have Hrithik reprising Sylvester Stallone's classic character, but with a desi twist. Siddharth bought the rights to the film a couple of years ago and is now all set take it on floors." [sic]

Another source close to the production team was quoted saying to leading daily, "Hrithik is busy with his other commitments and he will need to invest a lot of time into the prep for Rambo considering that it is a landmark character in American cinema. The film is now in the pre-production stage." [sic]

Last time Siddharth Anand collaborated with Hrithik was for the film Bang Bang, which was an official remake of 'Tom Cruise' starrer Knight and Day.

The Rambo Series was based on David Morell's novel 'First Blood' which starred Sylvester Stallone.
