Holi Hai... Serials Ishtyle!!!

The Festival of Colors, Holi has always been picturised in the most beautiful ways in many a soaps on Television. Few moments during Holi have brought in major twists to the story line, while few have really tickled our funny bones like never before!!

Here is Telly Buzz listing out some memorable Holi moments on Television..

Kyunki  Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi:

One of the most disliked tracks came into play during the Holi celebrations of Kyunki .. Lakshya and KT who were fresh in love, left Eklavya and a mentally-obsessed Mayank jealous. Taking advantage of KT on the eve of the celebrations, Mayank physically assaults KT - leading to one of the most explosive tracks that Kyunki has ever seen.  This leads to Eklavya getting wrongly accused of harming KT which eventually results in Eklavya joining sides with Bhoomi and becoming a totally negative character.

Kasautii Zindagi Kii:

The most celebrated Holi sequence in the show was the one that followed Mukti's rape case. Mukti was kept out of the celebrations while Sharad, the accused and the guilty, celebrated Holi with the Bajajs and the Basus.. The Holi sequence brought out the rift created between Rishabh and Prerna, as Rishabh supported Sharad while Prerna stood for Mukti. Apart from this, not a major twist in the storyline as such, but one such interesting Behind the screen story from the sets of KZK during Holi  was that Ronit got a punch in his stomach for coloring his co-star Shweta with gulal, in spite of being asked by her categorically not to.. Anyways, things patched up between Rishabh and Prerna after the Holi sequence and so did Ronit and Shweta when they ended their cold fight on the sets of Aaja Mahi Vay ..

Kumkum Pyaara Sa Bandhan:

Holi has always played a significant role in Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. Be it good times or bad, togetherness or in separation, Holi is vital in the lives of Sumit & Kumkum.
One such Holi scene, was at a time when Sumit & Kumkum were separated, due to the return of Jatin back in their lives. It's Holi; Sumit has a fistful of color, but looks at a picture of Kumkum and is sad that it is their first Holi away from each other. On the other side, Kumkum is missing Sumit and reminiscing about the good times they have had on Holi every year. Just then, a gust of wind blows and the color from Sumit's hand is blown away. On the other hand, Kumkum tries closing the window, and when she turns around, she realizes her maang is filled with color! Thus indicating, no matter the distances, True Love always finds its way!

Banoo Main Teri Dulhann:

Post the rebirth of Saagar and Vidya as Amar and Divya, last year's Holi celebrations in the serial saw a scene between Amar and Divya where the drunk Amar puts red color on Divya's maang without realizing what he has done. It was a really powerful moment as the whole village was stunned. Also, it is during the time of Holi that Amar starts to get strong flashes of his past janm.




Dill Mill Gayye:

A very cute sequence during Holi in the show wherein Riddhima has eaten bhaang ke laddoo. Armaan takes her to his house and puts her on bed. He is about to leave when Riddhima holds his hand and says for the first time, 'I love you'. Armaan turns back. His face glows with happiness.. Riddhima again says 'I love you a lot and can't live without you'. Armaan sits next to her and realizes that she has fallen asleep. He says 'I love you too'. He puts some color on her nose, removes her shoes, and puts blanket on her. Riddhima is sleeping with a smile on her face. Armaan kisses her forehead and says 'Sweet Dreams' and leaves. Well, what a start to the cute love story!!!

Kuch Is Tarah:

Holi brought Ranbir and Kanya together in a scene wherein Ranbir goes to Kanya with a plate of colors and sindoor. They both look at each other while 'Tumse Hi' plays in the background. Ranbir puts sindoor in Kanya's maang in the form of 'Thika' while the marriage mantra plays in the background. Well, after this, there was one hilarious moment too where Kanya's brother Harry and best friend Chunnu challenge Ranbir that he has to kiss Kanya. Ranbir then drinks 8-10 glasses of bhang and is about to kiss Kanya in front of everyone when he falls unconscious. He later on tries to kiss Devika thinking she is Kanya. A hilarious scene indeed!!!

Well, these were some of the memorable sequences shot during Holi that Telly Buzz could present… Without a doubt, there might have been many more such sequences and twists during Holi that would have made you viewers go gaga!!
