Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor wants people to give some 'privacy' to his pregnant sister Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor is in the midst of the most exciting phase of her life right now, as she prepares to have her first child with her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja. On their social media accounts, the pair made an official announcement. 

Now, the actress' brother, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, has spoken out about his sister's pregnancy, requesting that the parents-to-be be given 'privacy.' In a recent interview with India Today, the actor stated that the actress and her spouse are having a really private and personal experience.

He also stated that he believes it's 'good' that everyone is interested in learning about his sister Sonam because she has a 'big personality.' 

He continued saying that he also thinks they should be allowed some breathing room at this period. "Everyone wishes to share their joy. However, I believe it is a very personal and private event for the two people, and it is vital to respect their privacy in some way." 

Harsh further remarked, "It's kind of holy to me when you love someone and they're creating someone you love. It's not for the sake of proving anything to anyone or for the sake of the world. It's meant for you. As a result, it would be wonderful to offer them some room as well."

Meanwhile, Harsh Vardhan is preparing for the release of Thar, his forthcoming film starring his father Anil Kapoor, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Satish Kaushik. The film will be available on Netflix on May 6th. It is Raj Singh Chaudhary's directorial debut, and it is produced by Anil Kapoor Film Company (AKFC).
