Hai Sitaron Par Najar Mohit Mallik Hoon Main

Mohit Mallik who played Rahul in the admired serial Jab Love Hua will now be seen in a lead role in Star One's upcoming serial Pari Hoon Main. Model Mohit started of his acting career by debuting in the serial Milli on Star Plus. Though his character in Star One's Betiyaan Apni Ya Paraya Dhan was not that appreciated, he bounced back as Sikandar in the show Durgesh Nandini. With Pari Hoon Main being his fifth show, Mohit's work life seems to be in full swing.

We asked him about his character in the new serial and he said," I am playing Rajveer Kapoor a famous actor. He is like any other human being, hardworking, ambitious, smart and positive. He has an attitude like the stars have, but in a positive way. He is nice to everyone, from the director to the spot person on the set."

Mallik also gave us a little peek into the story too, "The story is based on two similar looking girls who get into each other's shoes. One is an actress while another is a simple girl. In the later part of the story I fall in love with one of the girls. Basically, this is a woman oriented story, the manner in which the girls adapt to each others lives is the crux."

He feels he can relate to the character very well as he too is very hardworking, ambitious, smart and nice to everyone. The only difference that he finds in himself and the character is that he doesn't have the attitude and style that the character needs to portray in the serial. We asked Mallik if we would be lucky enough to see him playing other roles in near future but the actor now seems to be concentrating only on Pari Hoon Main.
