Had to pick between love and ambition: Siddhant Chaturvedi on ending four-year relationship with girlfriend

Siddhant Chaturvedi is currently basking in the success of his recent film Gehraiyaan, starring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa. The actor could be described as Bollywood's next big thing. His acting career has been praised by both fans and critics. 

In a recent interview with Filmfare, the Gully Boy actor spoke about a variety of topics, one of which happened to be his previous romance. The actor said that he had been in a four-year relationship with a girl before breaking up with her.

When asked by the entertainment portal to tell the one experience that changed him, Siddhant Chaturvedi recalled the split with an ex-girlfriend. 

Siddhant stated that he dated that girl for four years and that it was at the age of twenty that he realized he wanted to marry her. He considered himself to be quite sorted, but he broke up with that girl, and it absolutely changed him.

Siddhant Chaturvedi went on to say that he was studying for his CA at the time, but that he changed his mind, which irritated the girl. 

According to him, it was a devastating moment because he had to pick between love and ambition, and we don't need to tell you what the Bunty Aur Babli 2 star chose. The actor concluded saying,

"I remember telling her that I wanted to perform on stage, and I'll make sure I get there, And here I am."
