Gurmeet Choudhary OPENS UP about parenthood!

Actor Gurmeet Choudhary talks about how he feels being a parent of two and what made him take this decision!

Gurmeet Choudhary and wife Debina Bonerjee recently become proud parents of two. The couple adopted two little girls Pooja and Lata from Gurmeet's hometown in Bihar!

Earlier, the actor had given a statement that the two girls will be joining them in Mumbai after a year, as it would be difficult for them to adjust to the city life quickly!

And recently, in an interview with an entertainment portal, the actor spoke at length about his 'feelings of fatherhood'. When Gurmeet was asked to comment on his new innings as a parent, he said, "A lot has already been said about the same, many articles have been up everywhere. We (Gurmeet and Debina) gave a very short statement on the same after which we tried to keep things low profile and didn't come out in public or media!" (sic)

He adds, "This idea was in my mind since a long time. When we talk about girls or orphan kids, I don't see any solution for it. We as actors go in front of them, meet them, dance for them, entertain them, but is that the solution? Will they be staying in an orphanage for rest of their lives? What is their future?" (sic)

And the best part of the statement is here. Gurmeet continued, "Aisa bilkul bhi nahin hain, me clear kardena chahta hoon ki hum apne bachche nahin chahte ya bachche ho nahin rahe hain, aisa bilkul bhi nahai hain (laughs)." (sic)

He concluded, "But I was clear that I wanted to adopt two girls for whom we can provide good education, who can get to wear good clothes, get good food and marriage should also be good. If we can provide such things to two girls then think about how much their next generation will be secured! And I'm very happy that after our initiative to adopt kids, many others from my field have come forward for this good cause. There are two-three people in our industry, I won't tell you the names as you will get to know it soon, but they also want to adopt a child! I think if people come forward for such things no one will remain an orphan or they will get good homes for themselves!" (sic)

Gurmeet and Debina have for sure set a very good example for many celebrities and commoners.

Adoption is really an amazing thing which requires big heart... Both partners have to be on the same page..i only see gc talking n getting excited about it n mean while i dnt see the same excitement in db... I do work with ngo n support this special home.. Fist n foremost i really will feel bad when a person use n word like orphans n orphanage... In gc last interview i saw he used the words so many times.. Just imagine if the two girls were to see the interview when they grow up how they will feel. They will feel like charity case . some ppl might ask, u know so much why dnt adopt. I'm a normal human being n i know I'll be biased to them, bcs i hv three of mine... That why i join ngo n support this homes to make sure they get good financial, education, medical n specially mental support.. Some of the homes (our organisation refrain fm calling it orphanage) children's are having better life compare to real house.. This special children's main need is love n support.. I hv seen si many cases of adoption go wrong way.. This are gods children n they deserve the best... I hv no intention to hurt anyone feeling but, i felt the need to pen down my feeling after hearing his interview...

I appreciate gurmeet act. He did a very good job. But i doubt debina will be able to take of them. I saw her in many reality show where she very rude kind of lady. I hope i am wrong but people adotp kids to do their household term it as charity. And yeah they yeah does not have own kids. When they will u see they would side line this kids. Debina is a rude person. She will not like it. To be very honest i wish i am wrong. But reading such case made me to think i this. Good job gurmeet.

Kudos to Gurmeet and Debina for adopting the 2 little girls from a Bihar village! I wish more celebs and well to do people would adopt little abandoned girls and give them love and security.

I think this is the most beautiful think to take care of one children. Of something who maybe never dream about something,just because him was feeling alone. Is very beautiful to grow up your own children..but is very special to look for somebody who never has nothing and give all what one children need...that s why not evrybody do this. To do this you must to be also very special. ALL RESPECT FOR GURMEET AND DEBINA.. !! If 50% of the population will think about this then the world will be much more nice and better. And not so many children will be alone anymore. In this days whe take care more of the dogs or phones or cars but finaly whe wont get that with us...evrything will disapear..but the good acts never. And somebody will always remember you as you diserve.
