Govinda resumes work after testing Covid-19 negative

Bollywood star Govinda recently announced his recovery from the novel coronavirus and the actor is finally getting back to work after testing negative. Govinda is currently seen as a judge on the popular reality show ‘Dance Bangla Dance’. 

The actor had shared a video from the set on Instagram where he is seen dancing with a group of background dancers on the stage. However, from the looks of it, Govinda has removed the post for some reason, and no further clarification has been issued about the same. 

Although, the below posts show his presence on the sets. 

Meanwhile, Govinda had shared a boomerang video on his Instagram handle to announce his Coronavirus test results and featured him walking through the door in style. 

Dressed in a red and black striped sweatshirt, white pants and sunglasses, he looked dashing as ever. Sharing the video, he wrote: “Apun aa gayela hain! #testednegative.”

Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Siddhant Chaturvedi also reacted to Govinda’s video and commented with red hearts under his post.

Previously, Govinda had shared a statement after his Covid diagnosis which read, “I have been testing myself and taking all the necessary precautions to keep the coronavirus away. However, I tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. Sunita (wife) has just recovered from Covid-19 a couple of weeks back.” 

Govinda had tested positive on April 4 and had urged everyone who came in contact with him recently to get themselves tested. The actor had mild symptoms and spent the time under home quarantine. His wife Sunita had contracted the virus recently, too.
