A nomination for the soulful "Moh moh ke dhaage" at the second edition of the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA), makes singer Papon feel that "good songs" always find a way into the audience's heart.

Papon has been nominated in the Best Singer (Male) category at TOIFA, which will be held in Dubai later this month. He feels humbled.

"I don't know about that, but being nominated itself is a fabulous feeling. I am humbled and blessed," Papon said in a statement.

"In today's fast-paced world where music is created in a rush, 'Moh moh ke dhaage' bears testament to the fact that good songs will find their way into the hearts of the audience," added Papon, whose real name is Angarag Mahanta.

Singer Monali Thakur, who has proved her mettle with her versatility, also has a nomination in the Best Singer (Female) category for the same song.

The "Sawaar loon" crooner says the nomination has come as a "pleasant surprise" and she hopes that she wins.

Thakur said: "It definitely comes as a pleasant surprise to be chosen for such a prestigious award. I am delighted and I really hope I win, since we all worked very hard on the song."
