The last schedule of Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi, and Shivendra Singh Dungarpur starrer Ghoomer was recently kicked off at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai by famed filmmaker R Balki.
There's a new update on this eagerly anticipated movie. It was previously speculated that Amitabh Bachchan would make a cameo appearance in Ghoomer, and it has now been confirmed that the veteran actor will begin filming his part soon.
Amitabh will be in the film's final schedule, but he will not be shooting at the DY Patil stadium. His scene will be filmed separately and in a different location. Ghoomer is set in the world of cricket, and he will play a commentator in the film. The legend has been in all majority of R Balki's films, and they are looking forward to working together on this one as well, the report stated.
Meanwhile, Balki has started working on the film's post-production, mentioned a source familiar with the situation. Ghoomer also brings Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan back together after a long time. They previously collaborated on the films Paa, Sarkar, Sarkar Raj, and Bunty Aur Babli. On Junior Bachchan's birthday, February 5, the filming of Ghoomer commenced.
“Can’t ask for a better birthday present! Birthdays are best spent working. घूमर. Now spinning,” Abhishek had penned on Instagram, while officially announcing the film.
Apart from this Amitabh Bachchan has a bunch of projects in his kitty. Currently, he is filming for Sooraj Barjtiya's film Uunchai. He will also be a part of the most-awaited adventure fantasy Brahmastra.
