GHKKPM fame Ankita Khare says, "Empty stomach I tie rakhi to my brother and pray for his long life''

Raksha Bandhan has arrived, and sisters all over the nation are getting ready to enjoy the day with their brothers. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, actress Ankita Khare, who is currently seen playing the character of Harini in the Star Plus show, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, gets candid about her relationship with her brother and reveals the plan for the day.

Ankita says, "My brother lives with me here in Mumbai and I consider myself lucky to celebrate the festival with him because not everyone gets to meet their siblings on this day. My brother is one of the most important people in my life who has always been there. We love pranking and troubling each other, but we share an unbreakable bond."

Further, Ankita adds, "Rakhi has been a very special festival for me since I was a child. Empty stomach I tie rakhi to my brother and pray for his long life. In return, he offers me a gift of my choice and promises to protect me under every circumstance. Even though it takes only a few minutes to tie a rakhi, preparations are done many days in advance. From purchasing rakhi to selecting an outfit for the day, I make sure everything is on point."

Professionally, Ankita has also acted in television shows like Jodha Akbar, Vighnaharta Ganesha, Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein season 2, Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer, Ajab saas ki gajab bahu and Life ka Recharge.
