Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh in Dulhann

Amar receives the 'Young Achievers Award' in Zee's Dulhann, and to grace the party comes Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh...

It's celebration time in Zee's Banoo Main Teri Dulhann as Amar (Sharad Malhotra) receives the 'Young Achievers Award'. And to grace this occasion, the renowned Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh will be singing a song from his new album, 'Imtihaan'.

We talked to Sharad Malhotra aka Amar, who said, "We are shooting this scene today. Jagjit Singhji will be coming to grace the party which has been kept in my honor. I am eagerly waiting to meet him and also shoot with him".

Aniket plans this surprise for Amar. "It is going to be a surprise for Amar when he sees Jagjit ji. Aniket arranges this as a gift for Amar who has won the prestigious award", quips Sharad.

Elaborating on the story line he says, "I get the Award, but on behalf of me, Bharat (Mohit Malik) receives it. Bharat has been brainwashed by Sindoora, as she had told him that he would win the award, but apparently he ends up losing to Amar".

This twist will bring about a break-up in the 'Ram-Lakshman' Jodi of Amar and Bharat. "Sindoora wanted to split them, and she has succeeded now", concludes Sharad.

According to sources, "Thro' the beautiful rendition of Jagjit Singh in the party, Amar tries his best to bring before Divya all the pleasant memories of their love".

The present track is focusing on Divya's memory loss because of which she does not even recollect her husband and kid.

The episode featuring Jagjit Singh will be aired this Tuesday, 7th April at 8 PM...
