Along with new style, D'Souza is working hard in learning the dialect of the North Indian language. According to a spokesperson of the venture, the actress has been putting in all her efforts to get under the skin of her character, which has been aided by spending a fair amount of time with her Punjabi friends.

 

Genelia made her mark in B-Town with Jaane Tu ...Ya Jaane in 2008, and is riding high with the recent success of Force, co-starring hot hunk, John Abraham.

 

Produced by iRock Films and Balaji Telefilms, Rock the Shaadi also stars Punjabi munda Abhay Deol and model turned actress, Preeti Desai. The film is to be directed by renowned director Navdeep Singh and is set to release some time next year.
