‘Gave Up Smoking For A Week But Then Surrendered’: Shakti Kapoor calls Coronavirus a 'Horrifying Terror’

The Coronavirus pandemic has led to a nationwide lockdown and as instructed by PM Narendra Modi people are staying indoors and not stepping outside their homes. All business sectors have been stalled and transportation too has been restricted. Similarly, the entertainment sector is facing a lockdown as well and all shootings have been paused. 

Like all other people, Bollywood celebrities too are confined to their homes. While many are making most of their time by dancing, reading, cooking and working out at home, many others are also finding it difficult to spend time in the lockdown.

Actor Shakti Kapoor is currently in quarantine with his family- daughter Shraddha Kapoor, wife Shivangi Kolhapure and son Siddhant Kapoor at his Mumbai residence. He shared his daily routine during the lockdown in a recent interview and also revealed how he tried to quit smoking during this period.

Terming the Coronavirus as a ‘horrifying terror’, Shakti Kapoor was quoted saying by E Times: 

I intend to give up smoking. I am trying very hard. I gave up for a week. But then, I surrendered and I smoked a couple of cigarettes again. I don’t want to do it anymore. So on the contrary, my wife and my children are looking after me.

Further, he reveals that he spends his day watching the news and by watching web series. While wife Shivangi keeps herself busy in prayers, daughter Shraddha has been glued to reading and exercising and lastly, his son Siddhant is involved in social services during the time of crisis.
