Gautam Gulati clears the air about his character in Azhar!

Dashing actor Gautam Gulati who shot to fame after winning Bigg Boss season 8, is now all set for the release of his upcoming film Azhar.

The film that stars Emran Hashmi in the lead role, is based on the life events of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.

Earlier, there were speculations that Gautam character in the film is inspired by former Indian Cricketer Ravi Shastri.

But, in an exclusive chat with India Forums, Gautam has put to rest all the rumors and gave an insight about his character in the film. He shared with us that he essays the role of a cricketer turned commentator in the film named as Ravish.

He says, "It's just a very nice character, a very flamboyant cricketer who turns in to a commentator. His name is Ravish. As he is a commentator, I saw a couple of videos of all the commentators and that's how I got to know about this character".

Azhar is said to be Gautam's debut in Bollywood as he plays a pivotal role in the film. The film will hit the theatres on 13^th May, 2016.
