Gaslight trailer: Sara Ali Khan gets on a quest to find her missing dad; Vikrant & Chitrangada play suspects

The much-awaited trailer of Sara Ali Khan's film 'Gaslight' was released recently. It takes you into a world of mysteries, murder, and deception in the royal realm. Vikrant Massey, Chitrangda Singh, Akshay Oberoi, and Rahul Dev are among the other actors who appear in the Disney+ Hotstar movie.

In the two-minute teaser, Sara plays Misha, a young wheelchair-bound paralytic who returns to her family's royal estate after a 15-year absence at her father's request only to discover that he has suddenly vanished. In the companionship of Rukmini (Chitrangda) and Kapil (Vikrant), Misha is soon drawn into a series of odd events. He makes a valiant effort to unearth the truth that is hidden deep within a pile of secrets.

The psychological thriller Gaslight is billed as a pyschological thriller. It is directed by Pavan Kirpalani, who is best known for directing the Radhika Apte-starring film. 

“It was challenging to get into this role both mentally and physically as she’s a very layered and nuanced character. I hope this film is going to be a thrilling ride for the audience as each scene will keep them at the edge of their seat,” Sara said in a statement.

Vikrant said shooting Gaslight was an “incredible” journey. He added, “The film is a murder mystery with the unraveling of truths of each character which makes it more interesting. Kapil is a complex character. The audience will enjoy the film throughout."

Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Tips Films Ltd., and Akshai Puri, 12th Street Entertainment, the film is set to release on March 31.
