Four More Shots Please! Season 2- The Girls are Back with their Fierce & Unapologetically New Version of Themselves!

Whilst the first season of the Amazon Prime Series starring Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Kirti Kulhari and Maanvi Gagroo was a huge hit, the series ended on a cliffhanger. However, in the second season, the girls are back with a new version of their old fierce, fearless and unapologetically flawed themselves. In this season, their character is way more structured and one can see the various developments in their traits. In this season, we will get to see how each of these four women standout in the crowd and deal with their problems in their own messy, robust and courageous way. 

The four friends who ended on a bitter note are back once again, due to unavoidable circumstances. Their journey takes place from where they left, but now the things have changed, they have changed and so has the world around them. One can also witness the beautiful locations of Istanbul, where this reunion takes place. 

Damini Rizvi Roy aka Dee (Sayani Gupta) who showcased her bravery in season one by standing up for her work and what she believes in, is seen as an emerging author who is struggling to publish her book. However, one can also see the confusion with regards to her love life, just like in season one.Umang Singh (Bani J) whose love life ended on a not so happy note with Samara (Lisa Ray) will be seen in a stronger and braver version of herself. It will be interesting to see where their relationship will go and will they fight against the society’s norms to take a stand for their love?

Anjana Menon (Kirti Kulhari) will once again be seen struggling to manage her professional life with her personal one. This time, she will fight against the patriarchy, take a stand for herself and will learn to love herself more than what people expect her to do. Apart from this, one can also see various shades and emotional moments in her love life as well. The cute and bubbly Siddhi Patel (Maanvi Gagroo) will undergo a drastic change. Siddhi who has always been seen fighting with her insecurities has now become a more confident version of herself.  

The girls have definitely become more mature and have now learnt a better way to deal with their problems. However, one major thing which can be seen in this new season is how each one of them have learnt to accept their flaws and have inculcated the concept of ‘self love’ in their life. 

Apart from the four girls, Prateik Babbar as Jeh has once again delivered a stellar performance and have portrayed his emotions beautifully on screen. In this season, we will see several new characters and each one of them have played their part with utmost conviction. Prabal Panjabi who dons the role of a standup comic is a delight to watch on screen. Samir Kochhar who portrays the role of a lawyer was able to engage the audience from the first scene itself. Shibani Dandekar nailed her character with her incredible performance. 

Verdict: Four More Shots Please! Season 2 is a must watch as it takes a deeper and more layered look in the lives of Damini, Umang, Anjana and Siddhi.
