For women every day is special!

While everyone around is happy celebrating Women’s Day, many of our TV celebs feel that it should be celebrated every day as Women are special always!

Vahbbiz Dorabjee Dsena:

Well we don't need a particular day. Every day is Women's day, because all the celebrations of life are because of a woman. The biggest beauty of a Women is how she bears a child. She can be a Mother and a father to a child. Women are very strong in real life as they are the balancing factor for their family. They care, they nurture, they instill values in their kids and they fulfill their responsibilities. I think they are SUPERWOMEN.

Sara Khan:

According to me, women don't need a particular day to feel important and acknowledged. In fact by doing so we are showing we need to feel the significance! We are IMPORTANT! We were important! And will always be important! We don't need anyone to tell us that nor do we need a specific day to feel that.

Krystle Dsouza:

Why do we celebrate our birthdays? We even celebrate Mother's Day, Children's day, Father's Day and so on. It's because no matter how special we all are we need a day to signify it and make it more special than it already is. Why wait to be made felt special by someone else? We women are self-sufficient and can very well make ourselves feel special. There are a lot of strong and powerful women around the globe!! I totally agree, they are equally and sometimes stronger in real life. They will take a stand for rights!

Ragini Khanna:

Strength is a personality trait and has nothing to do with gender. Women definitely have the natural power to procreate and have complexities of handing any situation. But it does not make them superior nor inferior to anybody. A woman is a woman and nobody can take that away from them. We don't need just one day of commercialization of woman's day. Womanhood is experienced, felt and should be cherished every day.

Manasi Parekh Gohil:

I think a woman is the torch that lights up existence. She can literally make or break the people and relationships around her. To celebrate women's day doesn't mean writing a couple of quotes on women or singing some cool songs. It means to wake up to the fact that a woman is neither a sex symbol nor a door mat. She is neither a villain nor a martyr. She is neither a whore nor a virgin. She is beyond compartmentalization and objectification. She just IS.

Disha Parmar:

I don't think that there is a need to celebrate women's day on a particular day. Everyday should be special for women's because they do so much work and for everyone in their family. Women are very special and important in anyone's life… be it our mother or sister, even the maids working in our house. Without them we have to do our work our self and it becomes difficult as we are dependent on her to get on doing our own work.

Daljeet Bhanot:

Speaking about women's day, this year I am not happy that the day has come, because in India there have been so many cases of rape and brutality towards women. I don't know if I am that elated or happy about being a women, because the respect is eventually not there, so I am sorry to quote in a negative way. This time I am not messaging or celebrating the day because I think people really need to respect women. I am a bit off color because of all that has been happening with women all around but yes the day is important as it is just a form of celebration.

Aishwarya Sakhuja:
My inspiration is my mom. Its true that we have a day celebrating womanhood but I honestly feel that if we don't do that on an everyday basis we will never be able to inculcate the equality of gender in our society. So having one special day is like insisting on the fact as to how unequally our society is treating our women.
