Aditi Gowitrikar, the bollywood beauty and a finest super model of India has managed to stay fit even after her marriage and having given birth to two kids. We caught up with her to know more about her fitness mantra.
My fitness mantra is to keep myself fit both mentally and physically and also to maintain high level of stamina so that I keep my self flexible.
You being a part of reality show now as well as Bollywood, how do you keep yourself fit?
I undergo weight training programming but I must admit that, I was never fond of doing exercise. I do yoga at least thrice a week.
What is your routine diet?
I don't specially follow a particular routine in my diet. I am a pure vegetarian and I try to avoid aerated drinks as much as possible. The best part is that I don't have a sweet tooth.
Are you diet conscious?
Yes, I am but the point is that I don't believe in crash dieting. I feel that one should have proportionate diet and not over eat.
How were you in your college days and now?
Fortunately, I have always been slim since childhood. Even in my college times I use to do lot of cycling. But after having two kids I felt the necessity to do workouts.
Anyone who you idolize when it comes to good physique?
I feel there are quite a few in the industry who have good physique like Mallaika Arora who even after having a kid is in perfect shape and same is the case with Nina Manuel. In Bollywood also there is Shilpa who has a fantastic figure and even Kareena for that matter.
So do you also have plans to go as slim as Kareena in Tashan?
Yes, I liked her but I believe that I have a pair of jeans which I need to fit in. I don't want to loose my weight more than that.
Do you have a dietitian or an instructor to maintain your fitness?
I don't have personal dietitian but I do have a personal instructor, Paul in Golds Gym where I work out.
How important to you is keeping fit?
I think it's the need of the hour.
A message to your fans to be fit and fine..
I think everyone should be conscious about their fitness and in todays world, its really important to be fit and fine.
