Fire Erupts During Chhaava Screening in Delhi Mall, No Injuries Reported

A significant fire erupted within the confines of New Delhi's Select Citywalk Mall on Wednesday evening, during a screening of the highly anticipated film "Chhaava." Reports indicate that the inferno ignited at approximately 5:44 PM, prompting an immediate response from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS). Six fire tenders were dispatched to the scene, their sirens wailing as they navigated through the bustling city streets. The firefighters, with their unwavering dedication and expertise, managed to bring the blaze under control within a mere ten minutes, demonstrating their exceptional skill and efficiency. Thankfully, despite the intensity of the fire, no injuries were reported, a testament to the swift and coordinated efforts of the emergency responders.

A devoted fan of Vicky Kaushal, Veer Singh, who was engrossed in watching "Chhaava" when the fire erupted, also shared his experience with PTI, “When people realised that the fire broke out inside the hall and smoke was billowing, people started screaming. It was a small fire. As the fire alarm went off, cinema hall staff came in and asked everyone to leave quickly."
