Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent' has been the talk of the town ever since it started streaming. The show, which has seen popular names as guests and contestants has found itself in the midst of a new controversy after the news of an FIR against one of the contestants started doing rounds.

According to media reports, Jessy Labam, a contestant on Samay's show 'India's Got Latent,' offended a resident of Arunachal Pradesh, after she stated that residents of the said state eat dog meat and sometimes, they also eat their own pets. ''I know because my friends eat it. They even eat their pets at times,'' Nabam said when Samay asked her if she has ever eaten dog meat. Videos of Jessy's statement went viral all over social media, as a result of which, Armaan Ram Welly Bakha, a resident of Arunachal Pradesh filed a complaint against Jessy, alleging that she made derogatory comments against Arunachal's indigenous people on Samay's show.

''Now in days of social media an ane Arunachal Pradesh Girl Name JESSY NABAM insulting our ane Arunachal Pradesh indigenous, Local & Tribel people. She said that we Arunachali indigenous, Local & Tribel people are Dog eater people and we eat our own Pets (dog) in national television show of INDIA'S GOT LATENT. Humble request you that please take quick action in this matter for in the future no one could do it again like JESS NABAM did,'' the FIR reads.
