Finished shooting with Manisha for 'Dutt': Hirani

Filmmaker Rajkummar Hirani has finished shooting with actress Manisha Koirala for the upcoming untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic.

Manisha, whose film "Dear Maya" released on Friday, will be essaying the role of Sanjay's mother and veteran actress Nargis in the upcoming biopic.

"Just finished shooting with Manisha Koirala as Nargisji. Such a fine performer. Wish you the best for 'Dear Maya' Manisha," Hirani tweeted on Friday.

The film is set to release on March 30 next year. It is a biographical drama film, written and directed by Hirani, and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Sanjay's biopic features Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist of the movie. It also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Karishma Tanna, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza and Jim Sarbh.
