Festive Season in SRGMP Lil Champs this Week..
This weekend in L'il Champs, expect the exceptional! Viewers are poised to get a flavor of the mysterious, magical and exotic Arabian Desert nights on Friday while on Saturday they will get a chance to come right back home to India and be a part of the Lori/Makar Sankranti/Pongal mela and celebrate with very ethnic Indian folk songs.

On Friday, the 11th of January, be prepared to take a trip to the L'il Champ Desert and be greeted by Sheikh Aditya Narayan while the little Aladdin’s entertain you with some magical desert music. As the hukkas get passed around, be ready to be enchanted with some real exotic performances.

If you thought, Mauli Dave was the Maiyya Maiyya queen, then there is a surprise awaiting - Anamika will mesmerize with an even better and captivating performance on the same song! Shreyas Talpade and Nagesh Kukunoor, are the celebrity guests who are there to promote their new film – Bombay to Bangkok .

Shreyas Talpade has been a part of the SRGMP show for three series now. While sharing a light moment with Nagesh Kukunoor in the sets, he acknowledged the role of Zee TV in his success stating that the stage of SRGMP has been his lucky platform! The actor, who impressed the public with his easygoing portrayals in films like Dor and Om Shanti Om, has promoted all his successful films on Zee's music reality shows, year after year. It all started with Dor that he promoted on Li'l Champs 2006. He followed it up by promoting Om Shanti Om on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and he was back on Li'l Champs 2007 recently promoting his latest caper, a romantic comedy directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.

The very down to earth and friendly actors had only praise for the Lil aladins."They get tremendous exposure at such a tender age and get seasoned very early", he said. The actor himself has been associated with the stage from a very tender age.

If Friday was exotic, then Saturday 12th January promises to be traditional and festive. With Makar Sankranti, Pongal and Lohri lined up over the weekend, L'il Champs make sure to give the viewers a feel of the festival. Saturday the theme is folk songs. Watch these Li'l Champs groove to folk songs of India on sets designed to resemble a traditional Mela. A very spirited performance of Rang Barse Bheege Chunarwali by Tanmay forces Sonu ji and Wadkar to come up on the stage and tap their feet.

Tune in on Friday, 11th January and Saturday 12th January at 10pm IST on Zee TV to enjoy the magic of the Arabian nights and the masti of the tradional mela and catch all the actions.
