EXCLUSIVE: Niti Taylor speaks up on the 'dwindling' TRPs of 'Ghulaam'

Life OK's romantic thriller, 'Ghulaam' wowed one and all from the time the show went on-air owing to its distinguished concept and the portrayal of raw and gritty sequences which has been a welcoming change in itself.

After beginning with a bang, the show continued to be appreciated by everyone till a while ago. For the past few weeks, the ratings of the show have been dwindling.

'Ghulaam' and 'Prem Ya Paheli? - Chandrakanta' topped the rating charts for Life OK a few weeks back, but now the shows have been suffering a fall.

However, just like many shows in recent times, the show has managed to do well online and has been fetching respectable numbers.

We contacted the leading face of 'Ghulaam', Niti Taylor aka Shivani and asked her take on the same.

The actress said, "I am aware of this dilemma where the show is doing really well online but is facing a downfall in the rating charts. However, I understand how people have a busy schedule and watch the episode online. In fact, even I watch shows online due to my busy schedule. However, it is all about the TV ratings in the end."

She added, "I really hope that people switch over to television to watch the show instead of watching it online. Because, if the same continues, the show will come under the scanner and I hope that a show like 'Ghulaam' doesn't go off-air because of this reason."

We hope that the fans of the actress take her request into account!

The TRP has declined because of regressive contents and mostly because of Rangeela acting as a DOORMAT rather than a worthy PROTAGONIST..

@Haters : Understand that 550K followers that Niti has come from various part of the world and not only India... And international followers like myself do not contribute to TRPs. Unable to understand a simple fact???!!! Tch Tch Tch... I really do pity you not knowing such a simple fact...

I also wonder why HIS HIGHNESS Mr. VEER and HIS LOWLINESS MR. Rangeela ne Mr. Berang didn't contribute to TRP in spite of having such zealots of fangirls!!!

People who don't want to watch can happily ignore the show or switch the channel !! No one is forcing them to watch on gun point !!

For the haters.. the place where she very active, it's 680k followers and no matter what she says you guys are gonna find fault in it. It is quite evident you ppl poke your nose in her business every time! For the record I give a damn about your fandoms numbers cos i simply don't care .. good going with keeping up with her even though you claim you ingnore her. Hypocrisy tch tch tch.
When asked about trp ratings going down while online rating are doing better, there is no other way to reply but like this. If she said something else haters gonna call her unprofessional and for a reply such this, we all read the below comments. I watch the show only for Niti Taylor. And i used to watch it on TV, but now i prefer hotstar coz i don't get time. Like she mentioned, i will try. All the hatred only make you stronger Niti Taylor. Love you for that.

Ps. When asked such question to any other celebrity, they will give the exact reply.. every one want their show to succeed coz like the article says it is the rating numbers that matter in the end. If you don't like it don't watch. The message is strictly for the people who watch it online.
