Euphoria on the sets of Khwaish as the daily soap hits 100 episodes..

Khwaish hits a milestone as it successfully completes 100 episodes on January 7th and the lead pair, the cute and vivacious Priya Bhatija who plays Afreen and chocolate boy Yasir Shah who plays Azaan share their experience about working together in Dubai.…..

Priya says, "It has been a fantastic experience working on the sets of Khwaish. Playing the role of Afreen is like a dream come true for me." Yasir also shares the same feeling and says, "It truly has been a wonderful experience and we all enjoy the roles we play in Khwaish."

While Yasir had no inhibitions working in Dubai being brought up there, Priya was a bit apprehensive working in a foreign country. Talking about her experience working in a place so far away from home, Priya says "At first the thought of working so far away from home was a little scary and I had never dreamt of doing it, but the entire cast and crew stayed together so it was like living in a big family." She also claims, "The role being that of a typical muslim girl needed me to perfect the urdu dictions and being a mumbaiite, I initially found it tough, but slowly got used to it."

Yasir on the other hand had other hurdles to face as he states, " Being from the modeling industry, the biggest hurdle I had to face was to perfect my acting skills." Being an ardent fan of Aamir Khan, Yasir strives to become a perfectionist like him, "I've always idolized Aamir Khan, who is a man of few words but has proved his prowess with the quality of his work. I hope to achieve the same some day." Ask him how it feels to be one of the hottest eligible bachelor in the industry he blushes cutely and says, " It is a good feeling."

Talking about the rapport among the co-stars, Yasir says, " It has been 6 months that I've been working on the sets of Khwaish and it has been great. We are all like a big funny family, who mingle well with each other. We are very close to even the technicians and producers. Priya is a great friend and now while on a holiday in Mumbai, Priya and her father are taking me on a joy-ride. It is great fun being with them." Priya shares the same sentiments about her friendship with the cast and says, "I am good friends with Yasir. And it is really great to know that the Afreen-Azaan Jodi is so popular. We work really hard to get the chemistry right and I believe our friendship off-screen helps us achieve it on-screen. "

On a final note, both the stars share their sentiments about Khwaish completing a century. Priya says, " Khwaish completes 100 episodes on 7th January. It feels great to be a part of such a wonderful unit where camaraderie exists everywhere. It is surely a triumph for all, but we need to grow more.
