Erica Fernandes: When you do sequels to a certain show, you have two different ways of showing it

The format of seasons on television has become an increasing popular trend ever since the web shows took over. While both TV and web continue to be a space with content prospering as ever. Meanwhile, seasons following hit shows continue to receive a mixed reaction but enjoy high popularity. Erica Fernandes, has been one such star to have been a part of two most popular TV shows - Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.

While talking to India Forums, we quizzed Erica about the pattern of seasons that has crept in on television too and what does she think about the trend, and she says, ''I didn't know that after doing 2 seasons of Kuch Rang, there would be a season 3 also, it was a pleasant surprise for us and of course, even with Kasautii, after so many years, I never knew I would be playing an iconic character so it is something that I think is a good thing because when you do sequels to a certain show, you have two different ways of showing it. One when it was made back then and now it is made for today's day and age, there are two different perspectives to one show.''

Both Kasautii and Kuch Rang managed to garner a lot of buzz online and in fact, they also continue to be shows that are remembered by the fans widely and in fact, loved for the performances too.

Meanwhile, Erica has been currently holidaying and spending some time to indulge in self-care and some me time, while also working as she visited Dubai for an EXPO too. While fans await her return to the screens soo, Erica wants to take her own time until she moves onto her next project.
