Ekta Kapoor goes on to REMINISCE her FIRST show, 'Hum Paanch'; here's why

Ekta Kapoor, as a producer and creator may have become popular owing to her sass-bahu sagas in the form of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii; but it was her first show that truly sealed the fact that she can do everything and anything, and go on to ace it too.

Kyunki and Kahani happened in 2000, but Ekta's first show as a producer was the cult comedy show Hum Paanch. All us 90s kids have seen, laughed and loved Hum Paanch and still remember it for being the cult comedy show it is.

And guess what? Ekta herself went on to give the fans of the show a tease, as she talked about veteran actor, Ashok Saraf aka Anand Mathur in one of her tweets-
