Ekta Kapoor Drops A Major Hint About New Komolika!

After several reports and rumours about the new Komolika, Producer Ekta Kapoor has finally cleared some air with her latest statement. Talking to a news portal, Ekta confirmed that the new face of Komolika has been selected and dropped a hint, "Yes, we have selected new Komolika and she is someone popular and has played a lead role in one of my shows."

Speaking about Hina’s exit from the show, Ekta further added, “Hina Khan is busy with her life and she is doing a couple of other things too, so we couldn't adjust her dates. It was an amicable decision. Hina is a thorough professional. We will definitely collaborate with her on some other projects- be it TV or digital or film.  She has been a revelation and this is not the end of our association.”

On Tuesday evening, the Producer announced the exit of Hina Khan from her popular show Kasautiii Zindagii Kay 2 on her social media. “New komo!!!?????? But whooooooooooo,” she tweeted. Replying on the same, Hina tweeted, “Best Wishes.”

As per some reports, Gauahar is most likely to replace Hina to play Komolika and has also given look-test for the same. However, the actress has denied being part of the show. Meanwhile, Hina who recently made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival for her first film titled Lines bagged another Indo-American project under the same banner. Both her films are produced by acclaimed Producer Rahat Kazmi. She also visited her Kasautii co-stars at Parth Samthaan’s housewarming party a few days back.
