King Khan was recently overjoyed to recieve a doctorate from UK based Bedfordshire University to celebrate his contributionto arts and culture. Currently on vacation with wife Gauri and children Aryan and Suhana, Shah Rukh laughs at being adressed as Dr, "Somehow it makes me feel slightly older when someone calls me Dr Shah Rukh Khan.'

Ironicially, the Dr is also in a lot of pain due to his recent shoulder injury which is still very much present despite having undergone a surgery five months ago.

SRK said, "I completed a long spell for Karan Johar's My Name is Khan in San Francisco. We got lucky because we had long days and could pack in ample work. However, my shoulder still hurts.'

The injury was further strained by the 'Dulha Mil Gaya' song sequence for the movie. Fortunately, Shah Rukh's Mumbai based surgeon has assured him that recurring pain is part of the healing process and for now, Khan is happy to go about his daily chores.

However his main regret is that shoots for forthcoming movies Ra 1, Happy New Year and Don-2 have been postponed by at least three months.

For now we hope Shah Rukh takes advantage of his well deserved break and returns to his shoots - happy and healthy.
