Doree 2: Maan wins the bet as Doree finally hugs him after his protective kiss

Tonight's Doree 2 episode begins with Maan noticing that the zipper on Doree's blouse is slowly coming undone. To avoid drawing attention, he discreetly covers her with a blanket and embraces her. Under the cover, he quietly fixes her blouse by zipping it up. Maan then kisses Doree, but with the blanket still draped between them to maintain modesty. His intention is purely to help without creating a scene. Once done, he removes the blanket. Meanwhile, Kavya notices that Doree's zip is back in place and realises that her plan to embarrass Doree has failed. Onlookers, unaware of the truth, praise Maan and say that his love for Doree is evident. Maan, however, feels that everyone is completely missing the point.

In another corner, Ratan, disguised in a different avatar, approaches Rajnandini. She quickly pulls him aside, demanding to know why he's come in person when she never asked him to reveal himself. Ratan explains that his wife is hospitalised and he urgently needs money. Rajnandini promises to fetch the money for him and leaves.

Later, Doree privately confronts Maan and asks why he kissed her. Maan playfully teases her before explaining that he only did it to cover her blouse malfunction with the blanket. Hearing this, Doree thanks him with a hug and reminds him that he's won the bet, before walking away.

Elsewhere, Ratan crosses paths with Shubhi, who is in Pushpa's arms. He notices a familiar birthmark under her foot and is shaken. He had believed that the baby girl he once tried to eliminate was gone, but her presence suggests otherwise. Suspicious, he sends a photo of Ganga to a friend, instructing him to gather all possible information.

Doree briefly catches a glimpse of Ratan and feels she has seen him before, but can't quite place where.

The next morning marks the beginning of Navaratri. Doree and Pushpa prepare for the morning puja. Dadi comes looking for Maan and questions why he isn't assisting Doree in the rituals. Doree explains that Maan was exhausted and hasn't woken up yet. Dadi gently scolds her, saying that despite being tired, she managed to wake up and perform the puja. She decides to personally wake Maan from the following day, and Doree agrees.

As Doree moves through the house with incense sticks, Maan arrives to meet Dadi. Dadi suggests that for the nine days of Navaratri, Maan should apply sindoor to Doree each day as it's considered auspicious. Maan agrees to this.

Kavya, eavesdropping on their conversation, hatches a plan. She intentionally bumps into Maan, hoping the sindoor will fall on her and create a misunderstanding. However, due to the turn of events, the sindoor falls directly on Doree, who is standing below.

Surprised, Doree asks Maan what he just did. Maan explains that he had been looking for her to apply the sindoor as instructed by Dadi. Doree, still flustered, questions his actions. When Maan tries to wipe it off, Doree tells him to leave it as it is. Maan teasingly asks if she believes removing it might bring bad luck. Doree responds with a witty remark, asking him to speak positively and walks away.

Meanwhile, Ratan receives a report from his friend confirming that Ganga is Doree's father, and Doree, despite being an unwed mother, is now a part of the Thakur household. Realising that Shubhi is the very child he had once tried to eliminate, Ratan is stunned. He immediately calls Rajnandini to inform her. While he tries to talk, he hears Dadi telling Rajnandini to visit the Sankatamayya temple. Rajnandini agrees and notices Ratan's call. She then instructs Riya to deactivate the number from which Ratan contacted her.

Ratan, determined, decides to meet Rajnandini at the temple. The Thakur family arrives at the temple. Mistaking Doree for Rajnandini from behind, Ratan speaks out, revealing that the child Rajnandini had ordered him to throw into the Ganga river is alive and now living among them. Doree hears this shocking revelation and is left speechless.
