Priyanshi Yadav & Ishaan Dhawan's Doree 2 to go off air: REPORTS

Priyanshi Yadav and Ishaan Dhawan's chemistry in Doree 2 may have been all over your social media pages, but sadly, it did not translate to enough ratings.

As per recent media reports, Priyanshi and Ishaan's Doree 2 is all set to go off air. Reports suggest that the show will be going off air by mid June. While the reason behind the show being pulled down is not officially confirmed yet, the constant low ratings can be an obvious reason. It was earlier reported that the show will be shifted to a different time slot, however, the decision to axe the show looks like a final one.

In the current track of the show, Maan will be seen killing Anand after Doree calls him to expose Kailashi Devi. However, he will escape and the cops will suspect Doree to be the person behind Anand's murder. On the other hand, what started as a contract marriage between Doree and Maan has now been blossoming into true love. Maan has also been planning to express his feelings to Doree. But with this upcoming twist, we wonder if anything will be well between the two of them.

For the uninformed, Doree 2 is the sequel to the first season of the show which starred Amar Upadhyay and Mahi Bhanushali in the titular roles. While the first instalment went ahead to be a succesful one, Amar Upadhyay, who was retained in the second season later called it quits. Reports suggested that his exit was followed after a heated exchange with the production house. The actor is now reportedly all set to shoot for the upcoming new season of his superhit show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi opposite actress turned politician Smriti Irani. The comeback of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was later confirmed by producer Ektaa Kapoor too.
