The tragic death of Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known by his stage name as KK, has shocked the whole country. PM Narendra Modi, his admirers, and fellow industry people have expressed their sadness and astonishment at his untimely death. While playing at a performance in Kolkata, KK felt nervous. After that, he was transported to the hospital but doctors proclaimed him dead.

The late singer suffered multiple heart blockages, according to the doctor. He may have been rescued, according to the doctor, if CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) had been administered sooner.

KK had long-term heart issues that went untreated, according to the doctor who did his post-mortem. The doctor told PTI,

"He had a major blockage in the left main coronary artery and small blockages in various other arteries and sub-arteries. Excessive excitement during the live show caused stoppage of blood flow leading to cardiac arrest that claimed his life."

He further continued,

"The vocalist had 80 percent blockage in the left main coronary artery and small blockages in various other arteries and sub-arteries. None of the blockades were 100 percent. During Tuesday's performance, the singer was walking around and at times dancing with the crowd which created excessive excitement that caused a stoppage of blood flow leading to cardiac arrest. As a result, KK fell unconscious and had a cardiac arrest. The artiste could have been saved if CPR had been given immediately."

Meanwhile, a lot of celebs were seen arriving at his Mumbai residence on Thursday to pay their last respects. Celebs like Javed Akhtar, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Salim Merchant, Shreya Goshal, Kabir Khan, Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, and others were spotted outside his house.

Such a big and public event and there was no first aid! It’s basic rule to have an ambulance 😭
