Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' fame blessed with a baby boy

While the media has been reporting about Daya Ben played by actress Disha Vakani’s comeback in Sony SAB’s popular show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, we have yet another good news for the fans of the actress. 

There’s still a question mark on her re-entry on the show as the news coming in is that the actress has become a mother for the second time and has delivered a baby boy. Disha went on a maternity break in the year 2017 and has been missing from the scene ever since. Vakhani delivered a baby girl in 2017.

And now, Disha welcomed a baby boy. Confirming the news to Times of India was Disha’s brother Mayur Vakhani who also played her on-screen brother Sunderlal in the show. Mayur stated, “I am happy that I have become an uncle again. In 2017, Disha had her baby girl and now she has become a mother again, and I have become mama again. I am very happy.”

While there were speculations of rifts between Disha and the producer of the show, she put all the rumors to rest by appearing for a special episode of the show in 2019. Her fans were overjoyed and hoped for her re-entry post her agreeing to shoot for a scene, however, the fans continue to wait to see their super fun Daya Ben back on the screens.

Well, with the new born baby, it seems like the fans will still have to wait for a while for Disha’s comeback in the show.
