Television's popular couple Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim are once again in the news. This time, it's not for a personal milestone or show appearance, but for a surprising update related to Dipika's business venture. According to recent media reports, Dipika's clothing brand, Label DKI, has reportedly been shut down.
Dipika and Shoaib launched Label DKI, a women's clothing line, just a few months ago. The brand, named after Dipika's full name—Dipika Kakar Ibrahim—focused on Indian ethnic wear and was introduced online around late September or early October. It was a dream project for Dipika, who had been planning it for over two years. However, the launch was delayed due to her personal responsibilities, especially the birth of her son, Ruhaan.
Dipika had earlier shared how passionate she was about this project. She had even traveled to Surat to handle production work personally. The couple put in months of effort—working with tailors, setting up a team, and managing the brand from the ground up. Dipika said that each outfit from the label would carry her personal style and essence.
Although the brand started on a hopeful note, with plans to deliver across India and even internationally, reports now suggest that Label DKI has closed down unexpectedly. While there is no official confirmation yet from Dipika or Shoaib, fans are shocked and disappointed by the news. The reason behind the closure remains unclear, and supporters are waiting for an official statement from the couple.
Meanwhile, Shoaib Ibrahim is also making headlines for another controversy. He recently uploaded a travel vlog shortly after the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The timing of the vlog has led to criticism, with some people calling it insensitive. Shoaib is yet to respond publicly to the backlash.
For now, both Dipika and Shoaib have stayed silent on these developments. Fans are eager to hear from them directly to understand what led to the sudden shutdown of the brand and to clear up the surrounding controversies.
Whether Label DKI will return in a new form or remain closed permanently is still uncertain.
