Dipika Kakkar announces return to television days after her name being 'confirmed' for Celebrity Master Chef

Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim, who rose to fame with her stint on Colors TV's 'Sasural Simar Ka' has been on a sabbatical from television for the past few years. The actress, who also did a cameo in the second season of the show announced her decision to take a break from acting when she was pregnant with her son Ruhaan.

Well now, the actress is all set to make a comeback onscreen after more than a year. Dipika announced the same in her vlog today and revealed that she has started for shooting for something interesting. The actress further stated that she cannot share more details on it and that she is very excited about her upcoming project. Dipika said, ''I am vlogging from the makeup room, and I have started shooting for something. I cannot give all the details, but I shall soon be back on screens with something new and I cannot wait to share it with you all.''

This announcement of the actress has come days after her name circulated as one of the confirmed contestants on Sony TV's upcoming reality show 'The celebrity master chef.' As a result of the same, Dipika's recent announcement is coming across as a confirmation to her return to television for all her fans.

Apart from Dipika, Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna and other popular names are also rumoured to be participating in the show. The show is reportedly going to be hosted by Farah Khan and will see Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar as the judges.
