Dimpy berates Anupamaa; latter gives her a tight slap

Vanraj assures Leela that everything is fine but admits he's stressed due to work. Leela then questions why Kavya appears stressed as well. Kavya explains that she was assisting Vanraj with his work and ended up feeling stressed too. Hasmukh seeks confirmation, and Vanraj affirms the situation. Kinjal receives news that her cab ride is canceled, forcing her to take an auto. Dimpy offers to drop her off in their new car, but Kinjal declines, explaining she's headed in a different direction. Dimpy teases that it's probably a good thing Kinjal is taking an auto, given the direction. Leela notifies everyone that there won't be dinner tonight since Dimpy and Samar have a business dinner with the MD. The MD values their input and rarely makes decisions without consulting them. Kinjal then receives another message that Rakhi handled the meeting.

An employee from the MD arrives and hands a document to Samar. Dimpy assumes it's a new contract, possibly related to heading the MD's Mumbai unit. To her shock, Samar informs everyone that they've been fired and are being asked to return the MD's car. The Shah family expresses their prior warnings about the MD, which Dimpy and Samar ignored. The MD's employee insists on the car keys, leading Dimpy to reluctantly hand them over. Leela humorously comments on Dimpy's quick change of demeanor from twirling the keys to surrendering the car.

Dimpy vents her frustration by scolding Leela and accusing the Shah family of ingratitude. She then shifts her criticism towards Anupama. Leela warns her, but Anupama encourages Dimpy to express her feelings fully, promising to listen and respond afterward. Dimpy's expressions grow odd, prompting Anupama to joke that if she continues, her face might freeze that way. Dimpy blames Anupama for their job loss, revealing that Anupama confronted the MD, which led to their dismissal. Anupama explains that they were simply being used by the MD to harm her, and that the family had repeatedly warned Dimpy and Samar about the MD, to no avail.

Ankush notices Romil leaving and asks about his plans. Romil responds rudely, but Anuj intervenes, reminding him to communicate his whereabouts as a sign of respect for his elders. Anuj also offers advice on Romil's studies and career. Romil displays attitude, leaving Anuj to hope that Romil doesn't show such behavior within the house. Ankush offers Romil money, and when Romil demands Ankush's card, Ankush provides it and offers him a car and driver as well. Romil leaves, and Anuj critiques Ankush's approach.

Dimpy continues to berate Anupama, accusing her of being the reason for their job loss. Toshu asks if Samar will also blame their parents for his own job situation. Samar clarifies that MD was impressed by their work but dismissed them due to Anupama's warnings. Leela, Anupama, and Kinjal defend Anupama's actions, with Kinjal highlighting Dimpy's own troubled relationship with her family. Dimpy attempts to speak, but Anupama silences her to continue her point. Kavya suggests that Anupama is often called upon to solve family problems. Kinjal praises Anupama for her support and contrasts Dimpy's behavior with her past family issues. Leela reminds Dimpy that Anupama wasn't invited to the house by her. The argument escalates until Anupama slaps Dimpy and warns her and Samar to leave the house.
