In the video shared on Instagram, a guy gets down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend on stage while the crowd cheers. He sweetly kisses her hand and embraces her, all while Diljit is singing nearby. Diljit is then seen clapping and encouraging the audience to applaud the couple. He shakes hands with the man and gives the girlfriend a hug. The man reveals that he proposed after 13 years of being together. The clip concludes with Diljit echoing the man's sentiments.

At the eleventh hour, the state excise department scrapped the liquor serving permit for Diljit's concert on Sunday. The permit cancellation followed intense objections from the NCP party's youth wing, senior BJP leader Chandrakant Patil, local residents, and various organizations, all opposing alcohol service at the event.

Recently, Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh received a notice from the Telangana government before his Hyderabad show on Friday, November 15. The notice advises Dosanjh not to include songs promoting alcohol, drugs, or violence in his performance. Moreover, he has been cautioned against involving children in the show and informed about the potential harm of loud sounds and flashing lights on the attending children.
