‘Lock Upp’ winner Munawar Faruqui is winning hearts and how! The stand-up comedian lifted the trophy of the show and had a blast in the success party of ‘Lock Upp’. Right after coming out of the controversial reality show, he made his relationship official with social media influencer Nazila. Faruqui is undoubtedly the man of the hour.

Munawar made many revelations regarding his struggle, disturbed childhood and more on the show. However, we’re sure his fans don’t know about his debut project in the showbiz industry. Well, the makers had approached Faruqui to write a script of a scene in the web-series. He ended up on the sets and the director asked him to be a part of the scene. Talking about the same, Munawar said, “Not many people know that I was a part of ALTBalaji’s previous project titled Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. There was a seen in the project wherein Divyanka roasts Rajeev and I was asked to write the script of that roast. I was also called on the sets and I adhered. Later, the director Pradeep Sarkar thought I can be a good fit in the scene and asked me to be a part of it and I obliged. The rest is history”.

On the work front, Munawar is speculated to be a part of another reality show – Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. However, the official confirmation is yet to be released.
