Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s much-awaited film Nadaaniyan has finally premiered on OTT, marking Ibrahim’s Bollywood debut. The movie also features popular influencers Agasthya Shah and Apoorva Mukhija, also known as Rebel Kid. However, Apoorva’s absence from behind-the-scenes moments and the film’s premiere has sparked speculation among netizens.
Apoorva’s involvement in the controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent, a show featuring Ranveer Allahbadia, has been making headlines. Since then, she has remained relatively low-profile, and her silence regarding Nadaaniyan has not gone unnoticed. Agasthya recently posted a series of BTS pictures from the shoot, tagging Ibrahim, Khushi, Neel Raj Dewan, Aaliyah Qureishi, Dev Agasteya, and director Shauna Gautam—but notably leaving out Apoorva. This omission led to discussions online about whether she had been deliberately sidelined.
On March 7, Agasthya’s post featured group photos where Apoorva was visibly present but untagged. The same pictures were later shared by Neel, Aaliyah, and Dev, yet Apoorva’s name remained missing. Additionally, she did not appear in any pictures from the film’s premiere. This has led to fan speculation that either the cast excluded her on purpose or she chose to distance herself due to ongoing legal issues.

One user wrote, “Finally saw Apoorva after so long 😭🎀.” Another commented, “Oh, they didn’t tag Rebel Kid 😮.” Many questioned her missing tags, with remarks like, “Why isn’t Apoorva tagged?” and “Rebel’s absence is just not right.” Some fans even directly asked, “Why is no one tagging Rebel Kid?”
Apoorva has been caught in a legal controversy linked to Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks on India’s Got Latent. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned Ranveer, Apoorva, Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and others following outrage over comments regarding parental sex, which went viral and led to multiple complaints.
