Did late Kim Sae Ron's former colleague Kim Won-Bin offer to pay off her debt only to be rejected by Soo-Hyun?

Queen Of Tears star Kim Soo Hyun is under intense scrutiny after his alleged affair with an underage Kim Sae Ron has been exposed by a YouTube channel. The Bloodhounds actress died on February 16, 2025, a date that coincided with Kim Soo Hyun’s birthday. Now, rumours have surfaced online that Kim Won-Bin who was Kim Sae Ron’s co-star in the 2010 blockbuster, The Man from Nowhere had apparently offered to repay her debt of KRW 700 million to Kim Soo Hyun’s agency Goldmedalist. He was one of the few stars seen at her funeral in Seoul. Kim Won Bin stayed with the family in the wake and was seen crying.

Now, Kim Won-Bin or his agency has not clarified on this. People are wondering why did Kim Soo Hyun refuse the money if he was indeed offered the sum by Won Bin. A letter too has been revealed by Dispatch where Goldmedalist had sent a debt repayment notice to Kim Sae Ron. It seems she was due to pay some sum by December 2023 that she could not pay till mid of 2024. The actress passed away in 2025 after moving out of her old apartment.

Her alleged letter too has gone viral where she pleads with Kim Soo Hyun for some more time. She says that the company had offered to pay off her dues with the flexibility to pay off with an extended tenure. Kim Sae Ron was the main breadwinner of her family and did not get projects after her drunk driving incident. Her car had crashed against a transformer that caused power outage in the area. Some small businesses also suffered losses. She had thanked her aunt and Kim Soo Hyun for helping her out. It seems she wanted to talk about the legal notice with Kim Soo Hyun but he ghosted her. Reports suggest that people knew about them being a couple but it was kept discreet due to the age gap between them.
